The Goldthwait Reservation is proud to host another Graham Hale Gardner cultural event this coming Saturday (September 20, 2014), featuring renowned Marblehead photographer Rick Ashley.

Those attending should meet at the Goldthwait Reservation parking lot located at the end of Phillips Street at 8:30 a.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Rick Ashley is a 2013 Fellow in Photography for the Massachusetts Cultural Council and has shown most recently at the New England Photography Biennial and the Panopticon Gallery in Boston. He has also exhibited work at Gallery Kayafas, the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Virginia Carten Gallery, and the Photographic Resource Center in the Boston Area as well as RayKo gallery in San Francisco. He is currently represented by Gallery Kayafas. In April 2014, he was featured in the Huffington Post for his extraordinary photographs of his brother-in- law, Michael.

The program will include discussions with Mr. Ashley about his career in photography and how as an artist he can "alter our perceptions of people through the images." Please bring your cameras. For reservations (as space is limited), kindly call 781-629-2764. There will be no rain date.
